Xeon Lawyer Appointed Arbitrator of the Seventh Xuzhou Arbitration Commission

September 27, 2026 Xeon & Partners Law Firm

Nancy Zhang, Founder and Managing Partner of Xeon & Partners Law Firm, has been appointed as an arbitrator of the Seventh Xuzhou Arbitration Commission, following the Commission’s latest selection and appointment process.

Established in 1997, the Xuzhou Arbitration Commission is an arbitration institution established in Xuzhou in accordance with China’s Arbitration Law. It handles contractual disputes and other disputes involving property rights and interests between individuals, legal entities and other organisations on an equal footing.

For its seventh term, the Commission conducted an open selection process for arbitrators from China and overseas. Candidates were assessed based on their professional qualifications, legal or industry experience, professional conduct and ability to handle arbitration matters. For practising lawyers, the published eligibility requirements included at least eight years of legal practice. Candidates who passed the review process were subject to public notice and final consideration by the Commission before appointment.

Nancy Zhang’s appointment further reflects Xeon & Partners’ continuing involvement in commercial arbitration and dispute resolution. The firm’s cross-border disputes practice covers international commercial arbitration, cross-border litigation, recognition and enforcement of judgments and awards, and disputes arising from international projects and commercial transactions.

Xeon & Partners will continue to strengthen its dispute resolution practice and contribute its professional experience to the development of commercial arbitration and efficient resolution of business disputes in China.
