Xeon Lawyer Mediation Center Opens Application Channel

In accordance with the Implementing Opinions of Jiangsu High People's Court and Jiangsu Provincial Department of Justice on Carrying out the Lawyer Mediation, and upon the official reply of the competent authorities, Xeon & Partners Law Firm has established Xeon Lawyer Mediation Center which will open mediation application channel as of June 20, 2024.

Mediation Scope

Foreign-related or domestic civil and commercial disputes can be submitted to Xeon Lawyer Mediation Center for mediation, including but not limited to, contracts, investment, intellectual property, construction & real estate, finance, insurance, marriage & family affairs, and inheritance disputes.

Xeon Lawyer Mediation Center does not accept the following disputes:(1)Cases applying for confirmation of marital relationships or identity relationships;(2)Cases suspected of involving false litigation or criminal offenses;(3)Cases where parties explicitly refuse mediation;and (4)Other cases that are not suitable for lawyer mediation according to rules and regulations.

Mediation Rules

Xeon Lawyer Mediation Center has complete rules including, the Rules on Mediation, the Code of Conduct of Mediators, the Provisions on Supervision of Conduct of Mediators, and the Rules on Expenses, etc.

Xeon Lawyer Mediators will strictly abide by the Code of Conduct of Mediators, and will provide a neutral and fair mediation environment so that the parties can fully express their opinions on an equal and voluntary basis and solve disputes in a more economical and efficient way.
